FAY'S CURVE
Soul
In Greek, psyche means both soul and butterfly. Plato calls it the beginning of motion: what moves itself.
The hidden text
In English, my rendering
Every soul is immortal. For what is ever in motion is immortal; but what moves another and is moved by another, in ceasing to move ceases to live. Only what moves itself, since it does not abandon itself, never stops moving — and for all other things that move this is the source and the beginning of motion.
